Research in maternal-fetal cardiovascular biology is aimed at utilizing state of the art cardiovascular approaches to improve the lives of pregnant women, and their babies. Research spans gestational nutrient delivery, fetal oxygen delivery, integrative cardiovascular sciences, uterine vascular physiology, developmental programming of adult-onset diseases (DOHaD), placental vascular physiology, feto-placetal nutrient extraction, systemic hemodynamics, and cardiovascular diseases in pregnancy.
