The Biomedical Research Certificate Program + DeBakey Scholars in the Aggie Research Program students set a new record for the submission of abstracts to 2019 Student Research Week, a four day competition to highlight student research at Texas A&M. Student Research Week (srw.tamu.edu) is the largest student-run symposium in the nation. It was reported that there were 800+ undergraduate and graduate student competitors last year. Importantly, VTPP, the DeBakey Institute, and the CVM will be well-represented this year.
From the 35 undergraduate research teams submitting an abstract to Student Research Week, 161 undergraduate co-authors will be competing. Congratulations to Dr. Quick.
