Congratulations to the “Minds over Miles” team (Julie Austin, Trudy Bennett, Shannon Washburn, Lisa Roberts-Helton, Kirby Kayla, Glen Laine, Carly Patterson, Alice Blue-Mclendon), 56th out of 257 Teams in the Walk Across Texas program.
It is also time to acknowledge Dr. Charles Long for presenting in the recent Texas A&M Science Town hall, sponsored by Sigma XI and TAMU post doc association. The town hall held April 21 focused on impacts of genetic engineering and was stimulating and well attended. Thank you Dr. Long for waving the VTPP flag!
